Post-It Note Puzzle

The featured puzzle from Volume 373 definitely caught my eye.

I recreated it amongst actual post-it notes on my dry out erase board.

My students were straight off drawn in. At first, they assumed the puzzle would live on super easy. After struggling for a few minutes amongst no success, around students started doubting the puzzle's solvability. I loved that when a pupil see he/she had arrived at a solution that it could live on verified past times truly moving the post-it notes.

Some classes did grapple to brand it at a solution. Others gave up. I used this puzzle equally a random fourth dimension filler final year. This year, I'm considering incorporating it into my outset calendar week of schoolhouse activities.
